The Graduate School of Education at Beijing Foreign Studies University (GSE, BFSU) was established in 2015. In line with BFSU’s strategic development plan to become a world-class, internationally-oriented university distinguished by its comprehensive approach to foreign language education, the school reorganized the original School of Education into the Graduate School of Education in April 2018, which was officially inaugurated on May 25, 2018. To further concentrate on the core areas of education-discipline foundation and facilitate the quality development of education discipline, the School officially restored its Chinese name in June 2025, and keeps the English name of Graduate School of Education.
To further emphasize the distinctive features of the Graduate School of Education, enhance collaboration with all sectors of society that care about and support GSE’s development, and strive for the quality development of the education discipline at Beijing Foreign Studies University, we are pleased to announce the launch of our newly designed official websites in both Chinese and English as of today.
