On April 7, 2025, a delegation led by Prof. Seidu Al-Hassan, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Development Studies (UDS), Ghana, visited the Chinese Secretariat of the China-Africa Consortium of Universities (CACU).

Prof. Yuan Dayong, Executive Dean of the Graduate School of Education, BFSU and Secretary-General of the CACU Chinese Secretariat, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Seidu Al-Hassan and the delegation. He introduced the progress and visions of CACU projects such as the "China-Africa 100 Universities Cooperation Program," and showcased the achievements in building the China-Africa Digital Cooperation Platform of the Consortium.

Prof. Seidu Al-Hassan, Director of the International Affairs Office Prof. Courage Kosi Setsoafia Saba, and Director of the West Africa Innovation and Research Center Prof. Abukari Alhassan shared the history and achievements of UDS, as well as ongoing international education cooperation projects between UDS and China. Prof. Seidu Al-Hassan expressed looking forward to in-depth collaboration with BFSU and leveraging CACU’s platform to connect with more Chinese universities, jointly promoting educational and cultural exchanges between Ghana and China.

Following the meeting, the Secretariat invited the delegation to visit BFSU’s University History Museum and World Languages Museum.
