To celebrate the 115th International Working Women’s Day, showcase the healthy, positive lifestyle and dedicated work ethic of female staff, and foster a supportive atmosphere for female staff, the Trade Union of Graduate School of Education(GSE) hosted the 2025 Women’s Day Tea Gathering on the afternoon of March 5th in Conference Room 928. The event was themed “Women Contributing to the New Era: Nurturing Well-being and Health”. Trade Union Chairperson Li Ming presided over the meeting.

Passing the Torch with Conviction, Women Blossom in Pursuit of Dreams! GSE currently has 8 female faculties, accounting for 33% of the total workforce, forming a vibrant presence within the school. They are confident, independent, resilient, and diligent, holding up half the sky in advancing the GSE’s mission. They are firm in their purpose, highly skilled, and full of charm, forming a driving force in advancing the GSE’s educational mission and helping build China into a leading country in education. Yuan Dayong, executive vice dean of GSE delivered a congratulatory speech. Male faculties extended their greetings and best wishes to the female faculties, who in turn shared their experiences, insights, and life reflections on serving society and achieving personal growth.
Attendees also shared their experience about spring wellness. The experience-sharing event began with a fun massage exercise session to warm up. This was followed by a group viewing and discussion of the spring health science lecture from the CCTV program “Modern People’s Liver Protection Guide”. Finally, youth teachers, such as Jia Nan, Wang Dan, and Yang Fan, enthusiastically shared their personal wellness tips and experiences on stage.

The experience-sharing event was marked by a warm and lively atmosphere, with all teachers participating enthusiastically. Moving forward, the GSE Trade Union plans to collaborate with internal and external partners to organize tailored health lectures, consultations, and services based on the specific work and wellness needs of the teaching, research, and administrative staff.
