On February 26, 2025, the teachers’ party branch of Graduate School of Education(GSE), BFSU Artificial Intelligence and Human Language Lab (BFSU·AI), and the party branch of Office of Confucius Institutes and International Exchange and Cooperation Office jointly carried out a special study on the National Master Plan for Building a Leading Country in Education (2024-2035) with the theme of “Boosting the Construction of a Leading Country in Education with High-Level Opening-up” in the Morning Reading Hall of the Main Building. Qin Lin, deputy director of the Institute of Comparative Education of China National Academy of Educational Sciences (CNAES), was invited to give a special report. The joint study was chaired by Tu Duanwu, Secretary of the GSE teachers’ party branch, with more than 40 CPC members and activists participating.
After introducing the development background, goal positioning, and content layout of the Plan, as well as the new requirements and deployments of the Plan for educational opening-up, Qin Lin, combined with her research field, further interpreted the ideas and measures to support the construction of a leading country in education with high-level educational opening-up. In the exchange session, CPC members from each branch interacted and discussed with Qin Lin on issues such as studying in China, the construction of Confucius Institutes, the cultivation of global governance talents, and policy support for educational opening-up.
Finally, Li Zuowen, secretary of the GSE general party branch, and He Jing, secretary of the party branch of the Office of Confucius Institutes and the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, delivered concluding speeches respectively.
